Dog training and boarding for Fort Worth and nearby areas south
Hi, I'm Whitt Brooks

With over two decades of experience, I have trained thousands of dogs, covering everything from basic obedience to advanced personal protection. My training philosophy is simple: be fair to the dog. I take the greatest satisfaction in teaching people how to effectively communicate with their dogs, helping them build a strong, lasting bond. My goal is to ensure that both the dog and handler are on the same page, creating a partnership based on trust, clarity, and understanding.
I specialize in working with reactive dogs, helping them overcome challenges such as fear, anxiety, and reactivity toward other dogs or people. Through patience, fairness, and proven techniques, I focus on building confidence and trust in both the dog and their handler. My approach ensures owners have the tools and understanding needed to guide their dogs toward calmer, more balanced behavior in any situation.

Dog Boarding
My dog boarding service is run out of my home, offering a more comfortable, home-like environment compared to a traditional kennel facility. I provide both indoor and outdoor runs to ensure your dog’s comfort and safety. Inside, there are spacious kennels and runs for relaxation, while dogs who enjoy socializing can play and interact with others in supervised group play areas. For dogs that prefer their own space or need special accommodations, I offer dedicated individual runs and personalized playtime. My goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and stress-free experience for every dog in my care.
Dog Boarding: $55 per night
Customer Testimonials
He also gives the client/handler the tools needed to set them up for success. That means if you, as the handler, need more time to understand how to work with your dog fully, he always makes time and is willing to go that extra mile to see you and your pup succeed. Seeing a dog and its handler on that same frequency is beautiful, knowing that they are in tune with each other and that the continuity is solid. I highly recommend Whitt if you are looking for a professional, consistent, and down-to-earth trainer.
I entrusted my 6 month old Golden Doodle, Ollie to Whitt for a month long beginner training and when he came home, he had all the basics that I wanted. Then it was up to me to continue, now 3 years later I still have the basics to fall back on and even though he is a Doodle (if you know you know ) he is responsive and minds very well. He loves Whitt as well as we do. ❤️
Before I met with Brooks, I was constantly going from Trainer to Trainer to find the perfect fit for my dog and he came highly recommended by four or five different people so I figured he had to be good. He was definitely affordable. He was definitely worth all the hype. My dog did two years of intensive guard dog training. Not only did she learn, but I learned a lot about my dog and bonded tremendously with her. I could never thank Whitts enough for the memories I was able to make with my baby.
I have known Whitt for about 13 years and he has trained 3 of my dogs in basic obedience.
He is very knowledgeable and treats the dogs very kindly with an emphasis on positive lessons that allow her to keep her spirit but still be well behaved.
I recommend Whitt to anyone who wants a positive reinforcement while training their dog, he not only trains the dog he trains the owner to be able to conduct practice training in between sessions to continue to build that relationship of trust and love but also obedience.
We cannot recommend Whitt Brooks highly enough! His exceptional knowledge of dog training, combined with his patient and compassionate approach, has transformed our experience with our crazy mini GoldenDoodle.
Beyond his skill as a trainer, Whitt is a genuinely kind and trustworthy person who clearly cares deeply about both dogs and their owners. If you’re looking for someone who delivers results and builds lasting relationships, look no further!
